A2 Key for Schools and B1 Preliminary for Schools

A2 Key for Schools and B1 Preliminary for Schools are two very popular Cambridge exams specifically designed for school-age learners. These exams help learners gain confidence to communicate in real-life situations. To provide better alignment between the exams helping students progress step-by-step, Cambridge has updated these exams in January 2020. These updated exams will not only meet the needs of schools and learners but will also help them reach their potential.

IQBar Exam Preparation Department makes sure the courses developed are up to date. New courses have been developed and the current courses have been revised to meet the needs of our students keeping them motivated throughout their educational journey.

From support materials such as lesson plans, teacher guides and flashcards to pre-loaded lessons with answers, we provide our teachers with everything they need. Our A2 Key and B1 Preliminary for Schools courses are designed to include all four skills needed in language learning with integrated grammar and vocabulary. Each lesson also has some important tips and strategies that will help learners with their exam skills.

A2 Key for Schools

Our new A2 Key for Schools course helps students communicate in simple situations. It also gives them the confidence to move on to the next step which is B1 Preliminary for Schools.  Our exam preparation courses aren’t only for young learners who want to take these exams but also for older children who want to improve their language skills. By the end of this course, our students will be able to introduce themselves, ask and answer simple questions and interact with English speakers using basic expressions.

B1 Preliminary for Schools

Our new B1 Preliminary for Schools course helps students with their language skills for everyday use. It also gives them the confidence to move on to the next step which is B2 First for Schools.  Our new B1 Preliminary for Schools course can be easily integrated into our students’ school curriculum which makes it easier and more convenient for all learners. By the end of this course, our students will be able to read simple textbooks and articles in English, write letters and e-mails, understand factual information and communicate in both spoken and written English. A2 Key for Schools and B1 Preliminary for Schools Blended Learning Course

Our new exam preparation blended learning courses are for all learners who want to either revise what they have learnt in our one to one classes or who are extremely busy with school work and don’t have much time to spare. These courses will allow them to learn without any time limitations. They will be able to attend classes whenever and wherever they want.  They will also be allowed to work at their own pace. 

These courses will help them practise all language skills including grammar and vocabulary. Each unit will last approximately 60 minutes. Our students will be provided with crucial information about each skill, different types of tasks and exercises, exam tips and end of unit tests in each session. They will be awarded points as they go through the tasks. Each class has a specific objective which will help our learners to focus on one main area in each session. Our course is also great for students who suffer from anxiety and who learn better in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Since they will feel in control of their own learning, they will be more confident and motivated which will bring them closer to success.
